Bank Sohar extends offer on personal loan until year-end
The offer allows any Omani customer applying for a new personal loan to benefit from an interest rate as low as 3.49 per cent for the first six months
MUSCAT: Following the successful launch of its recent personal loan special offer for Omani customers, Bank Sohar has now announced an extension on the offer until December 3.
The offer, which was introduced in August 2015, allows any Omani customer applying for a new personal loan within the promotion period to benefit from an interest rate of as low as 3.49 per cent for the initial period of first six months of repayment and special interest rate thereafter for the duration of the loan.
These customers would also be entitled for a free Bank Sohar Excel Credit Card. Customers under this scheme have an option to start their monthly loan repayment after two months. Moreover, life insurance cover is available without medical test for customers with
loan exposure up to OMR100,000.

With a maximum loan period of ten years, the personal loans offer provides Bank Sohar customers a number of wide-ranging benefits. These include loan amounts as per customer requirements, flexible repayment plans and a loan top-up facility to meet additional financial requirements.
The documentation process has also been simplified with quick processing resulting in quick turn-around time
