Omasco Watches launches ‘Tense’ brand in Oman
MUSCAT: Omasco Watches, launched Canadian wooden watch brand ‘Tense’ in the Sultanate of Oman recently.
Billing themselves as the original wooden watch company, Tense watches almost instantly gained a reputation for the highest possible level of quality and craftsmanship imagine about – all while constructing their incredible products almost entirely out of wood!

Founded in 1971, Tense makes high quality wooden time pieces in Canada, with selected world’s best natural materials from Africa, India, and many other exotic places. Tense watches are hypoallergenic. The woods they use are natural materials that the skin tolerates very well, even after the wood has been treated, says a press release.
All the Tense watches use one of the world’s top watch movement, Miyota 2035, from Japan and offers two-year warranty for the watch movement. The timepieces have cases, bracelets and dials crafted in wood, with men’s and women’s styles created from a number of wood types. Designs include round, square and hexagonal cased models, chronographs and pocket watches. Tense manufactures wooden watches using lightweight wood construction materials to make sure that the watches are very comfortable to wear for long period of times.
Tense will be available at flagship showroom of Omasco Watches at Sabco Centre and also Lulu watch house counters at Darsait, Bausher, Barka, Salalah, Nizwa and Sohar outlet.
