MUSCAT: Mott MacDonald defeated Al Meer by 75 runs in a Oman Cricket-organised and Enhance-sponsored D Division match at the Municipality Ground III during the afternoon session on Friday.
Batting first, Mott MacDonald scored 202 for nine in 15 overs thanks to Jayed Tanashah’s 43 and 66 penalty runs. Kiran, Prakash and Punit claimed two scalps each for Al Meer.
Mott MacDonald then restricted Al Meer to 127 for two in 15 overs to complete their victory with a bonus point. Shankar top scored with an unbeaten 49 for the losers.

Batting first, Ibrahim Kishri scored of 171 for nine in 20 overs with Afzal Mirza and Mohammed Wasim scoring 44 and 45 respectively. Rizwan Mohammed and Akbar Mulla picked up three and two wickets respectively.
In reply, Abu Maather managed to score 147 all out in 17.5 overs. Wasim Jamadar top scored for with 45. Wasif Bakkar was the star bowler for Ibrahim Kishri with four for 23 from four overs.
