Stylish Nissan Sentra continues to impress
The new Sentra boasts of top of the range options that focus on class-above design standards inside and out
MUSCAT: After gaining rave reviews from auto enthusiasts, the 2016 Sentra now comes in a new 1.6 and 1.8 SV CVT P26, from the house of Suhail Bahwan Automobiles, which is set to create another milestone.
The new Sentra boasts of top of the range options that focus on class-above design standards inside and out. Loaded with full options, the Sentra 1.6 and 1.8 SV has an edge over competitors in its segment making it an enticing option for patrons, says a press release.

Apart from Nissan Sentra 1.6 and 1.8L engine options, the Sentra 1.6 SV has an engine capacity of 113hp, Dimensions (LxWxH) – 4615 x 1760 x 1495mm and Xtronic CVT Transmission.
Powering ahead
The Sentra 1.8L engine is designed to excel. With its longer stroke and Twin CVTC (Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control) System on intake and exhaust valves, it of- fers greater combustion efficiency and maximum fuel economy. Sentra’s engine is very durable but lightweight, giving great performance and power without being a burden to the car.

In the recently held Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) test, the 2015 Nissan Sentra won the ‘Top Safety Pick’ vehicle safety rating. The institute’s ‘Top Safety Pick’ award recognises passenger vehicles that excel in protecting passengers in moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraint tests and also achieve a ‘Good’ or ‘Acceptable’ rating in the small overlap frontal test. The 2015 Sentra scored ‘Good’ in all five of the ‘Top Safety Pick’ categories.

A key feature
Nissan Intelligent Key technology allows owners to lock and unlock the door just by pressing the ‘Request Switch’ on the door while just simply carrying the key. Drivers can also open and close the trunk, and can start the engine without having to insert the key, making departure seamless. By cutting out the trouble of putting in the key, there is no need to search for the key inside a bag or pocket.
