BCT certificate programme helps participants become better leaders
MUSCAT: Bahwan Cybertek (BCT), a global provider of innovative software products and solutions in association with the Indian School of Business (ISB), a premier global business school and one of the largest executive education providers in Asia, conducted the certificate programme in General Management for corporates of Oman.
The participants, who successfully completed this programme, received a certificate in General Management for business executives from the ISB, Centre for Executive Education, says a press release.
Today’s aspiring leaders need to be equipped with the right skill set to manage effectively and thrive in increasingly complex leadership roles. This certificate programme is specifically tailored for tomorrow leaders, to help them become better leaders and business decision makers.
The participants who have successfully completed this programme and got a holistic understanding of general management concepts, are now able to operate efficiently and have enhanced their personal effectiveness, leading and motivating their team to greater performance and it has also helped them to take better strategic business decisions.
The participants who attended this programme gained knowledge on various modules such as effective business communication; finance for non-finance executives; personal leadership excellence; marketing excellence for profitable growth; strategic thinking and execution excellence and negotiation, influencing and managing stakeholders.
As quoted by one of the participants, “I wish to place on record that the ISB programme that I am attending currently has been carefully designed to benefit aspiring leaders and growing leaders within the organisation. The course content is comprehensive and the faculty chosen for each module is excellent.” He further added that, “The faculties have made our learning easy and attending the course has benefitted me in understanding various aspects of management, communication and skills needed for achieving growth in the organisation. At the end of the course, each participant was given an opportunity to present their overall course experience, and they also got a chance to interact with the senior members of ISB, Hyderabad.
Following the successful completion of the last batch, BCT announced the next batch to be commencing in July, 2016. The ideal candidates for this programme are executives with over eight years of experience who aspire to reach the next level of leadership through enhancing their general management competencies. This pro- gramme will be delivered by senior faculties who regularly teach executive education participants in ISB and other leading business schools. The teaching methodologies will be a mix of case studies, workshops, classroom learning and group activities.
This six-month programme is designed and conducted in Oman and on ISB Hyderabad campus, this ensures that working professionals can continue their learning without any disruption of their work schedules. Successful candidates will receive the certificate programme in general management for business executives from the ISB’s Centre for Executive Education.
The overall objective of this course is focused at grooming senior and middle management in Oman and UAE in different areas aligned to the demand of the business landscape in the region.
