Admissions on at MEC for various courses in Fall 2016
MUSCAT: Registration and admissions are still on at Middle East College (MEC) for the coming semester in Fall 2016.
For a life-changing experience, various programmes are offered at MEC in the fields of engineering, science & technology and business studies. Admissions for the General Foundation Programme (GFP), Undergraduate Programmes ( UG) and Postgraduate Programmes (PG) will continue till the beginning of October 2016, says a press release.
Almost 20 programmes at the Diploma, Bachelor and Postgraduate level are offered at MEC in affiliation with the Universities of Wolver Hampton and Coventry University, UK. Coventry University has the distinction of being declared ‘University of the Year’ for the year 2015 in the UK. The programmes offered by MEC include mechanical engineering, computer hardware and networking, multimedia technology, computing and information systems, archives and records management and a new programme on building services engineering, to name a few, in both full time and part time courses.
MEC also has partnership with different academic and professional institutions like Microsoft IT Academy, Information Technology Authority (ITA), Oracle Academic Initiative, Cisco Network Partner Academy, SAP and others, to ensure a rich educational experience for its students and provide them with appropriate training and job opportunities.
