Municipal councils results declared
Municipal Councils 2nd Term Elections were held on Sunday across Oman
MUSCAT: The Main Committee for the Municipal Councils 2nd Term Elections announced the results of the elections, which took place in all the wilayats of the Sultanate yesterday.
The results are as follows:
In the Wilayat of Muscat: Qais bin Mohammed bin Ali Al Ma’ashari, Majid bin Nasser bin Khalfan Al Jabri.
In the Wilayat of Dhalkut: Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Said Al Amri, Said bin Salim Shamas.
In the Wilayat of A’Sinainah: Maryam bint Khalfan bin Abdullah Al Shamsiyah, Latifa bint Mohammed bin Nasser Al Man’eiyah.
In the Wilayat of Sumail: Hisham bin Mohammed bin Hilal Al Hashami, Hamid bin Mohammed bin Saif Al Rawahi, Salim bin Omar bin Abdullah Al Makhladi, Abdul Karim bin Suroor bin Zayed Al Jabri.
In the Wilayat of Al Hamra: Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Zaher Al Abri, Saud bin Rashid bin Said Al Khatri.
In the Wilayat of Liwa: Rahma bint Ali bin Hassan Al Ghufailiyah, Saif bin Khamis bin Said Al Thuhli, Khalfan bin Sulaiman bin Musabah Al Kindi, Hamdan bin Khalfan Al Ma’amari.
In the Wilayat of Nakhal: Sulaiman bin Salim Al Jabri, Salim bin Saleh Al Subhi.
In the Wilayat of Maqshan: Said bin Hassan bin A’Shataf Al Mas’hali, Mabkhout bin Mohammed bin Bukhait Al Sha’sha’ei.
In the Wilayat of Shleem and Al Halaniyat Islands: Said bin Salim bin A’Niftah Sa’aifout Tho’aar, Abdulrab bin Sa’ad bin Qasim Al Bat’hari.
In the Wilayat of Sadah: Khalid bin Musallam bin Hadid Al Oraimi, Ali bin Mohammed bin Faraj Tahir Al Mahri.
In the Wilayat of Bukha: Ali bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Shihi, Hassan bin Sulaiman bin Hassan Al Shihi.
In the Wilayat of Madha: Subaih bin Said bin Subaih Al Madhani, Saif bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Sa’adi.
In the Wilayat of Yanqul: Mohammed bin Saleh bin Ali Al Badi, Ali bin Khamis bin Mohammed Al Alawi.
In the Wilayat of Masirah: Nasser bin Salayum bin Khamis Al Farsi, Badr bin Darwish bin Mohammed Al Oraimi.
In the Wilayat of Haima: Said bin Mubarak bin Saqr Al Harsosi, Said bin Nasser bin Rashid Al Harsosi. Governor of Al Wusta Governorate, Wali of Mahout and heads of the elections committees at the voting centers.
Earlier, the Minister of Interior affirmed that all preparations have been completed for the elections day and that the election process is going very well as planned.
He expressed his satisfaction for the good organisation, which ensures smooth running of the election process.
He also affirmed that all elections relevant stakeholders are doing their best to ensure success of the municipal elections.
He thanked all workers at the election centers for their hard work to ensure smooth running of election.
The Minister of Interior was accompanied by a number of members of the Elections’ Main Committee.
