SPAR’s annual Apple and Citrus Fest begins

This one of its kind festival will feature 25 different kinds of apple and citrus fruits from over 19 countries; giving its shoppers to taste the most extensive and choicest variety of fruits from all over the world

MUSCAT: In a constant effort to give customers fresh quality produce SPAR Oman has launched its annual Apple and Citrus Festival.

Beginning February 13 to 21, this one of its kind festival will feature 25 different kinds of apple and citrus fruits from over 19 countries; giving its shoppers to taste the most extensive and choicest variety of fruits from all over the world, says a press release.

During the festival days, SPAR Supermarkets at Al Khuwair, Madinat Sultan Qaboos, MBD, Darsait, Mumtaz, Mutrah, ISD, Ruwi and Bausher will display a rich bounty of exotic varieties of apple and citrus fruit including honey crisp apples, Juliette, Jona Gold, Pink Lady, Granny Smith, Macintosh and the ubiquitous Red Delicious among many more. The choice of citrus fruit is no less sumptuously diverse. Shoppers can sample varieties such as Clementine, Kumquats, Red Grapefruit, Lemons, Limes, Navel Oranges and more!
