Nissan Altima delivers 29.5km/l in ‘mileage challenge’

MUSCAT: To create awareness about Altima’s impressive fuel economy, Nissan Oman, from the house of Suhail Bahwan Automobiles (SBA), recently organised a ‘Altima Mileage Challenge’.

The winning Nissan Altima, driven by Hajir Mohammed Al Barwani, got a mileage of 29.5km per litre of fuel. Happy with overall experience of dealing with Suhail Bahwan Automobiles Hajir Al Barwani rated the company ‘excellent’ in all departments.

Hajir has already covered 1,200km after taking delivery of new Nissan Altima on January 19, 2017 and rated the vehicle as an excellent product and praised the 2.5L engine for delivering strong acceleration and excellent fuel efficiency. She had a word of praise for the front seats which she said “are the most comfortable in its class”. She said Nissan Altima was the best buy in the segment.

Elated at having got a mileage of 29.5km per litre of fuel at the ‘Altima Mileage Challenge’, she said it speaks highly about the car’s fuel efficiency. The mileage challenge was organised at Nissan show- room in Qurum as a part of an ongoing CSR initiative of SBA. Last year SBA had organised a ‘Sentra Mileage Challenge’ across Oman.

The ‘Altima Mileage Challenge ’witnessed keen participation from over 30 Nissan Altima owners who were flagged off from the Qurum showroom. They drove on a predesigned route covering approximately 140km from the Qurum showroom to Barka exit on the Expressway and back.

A senior official of SBA said, “Nissan’s passenger cars are proven to deliver high fuel efficiency and with a class-leading fuel economy, the new Nissan Altima makes a great vehicle to own in Oman. We are happy with the response to the ‘Altima Mileage Challenge’. The next ‘Altima Mileage Challenge’ will be held in Sohar.
