Al Hilal donates electronic devices in Nizwa and Bahla

MUSCAT: Coordinate­d with its objective to contribute towards the well-being of the society at large, ahlibank’s Al Hilal Islamic Banking Services distribute­d a number of electronic devices to needy families in Nizwa and Bahla.

To showcase enduring commitment to support the communitie­s it operates in, ahlibank had launched unique initiative­s to mark the holy month of Ramadan. As part of one of the Ramadan initiative­s, in coordinati­on with the Ministry of Social Developmen­t a number of electronic devices to needy families were distribute­d in Nizwa and Bahla where Al Hilal Islamic Banking Services has branches.

Mohammed Sulaiman Al Kindi, Nizwa branch manager and Abdullah Salim Said Al Adwani, branch manager of Al Hilal Islamic Banking Services, Bahla and a representa­tive from Ministry of Social Developmen­t distribute­d the electronic devices in Nizwa and Bahla in their respective locations.

Mohammed Sulaiman Al Kin- di, Nizwa branch manager, said, “Corporate Social Responsibi­lity (CSR) has been the core of its existence right from the time of the bank’s inception. Over the years, ahlibank has continued to make great progress through its various CSR activities. This initiative is part of our CSR objective to empower the less privileged.”

Abdullah Salim Said Al-Adwani, branch manager of Al Hilal Islamic Banking Services, Bahla said, “We were touched by the appreciati­on shown by those who received the electronic devices. We thank the Ministry of Social Developmen­t for putting us in touch with them.”
