Bank Sohar hosts Iftar for corporate clients
MUSCAT: As part of its celebrations during the holy month of Ramadan, Bank Sohar hosted an annual Iftar party for its corporate clients at Bait Al Shams – The Cave. In addition to symbolising a gesture of appreciation for the ongoing trust and support of this customer base, the evening served as an ideal platform for socialising, networking, strengthen ties in the corporate sector and forge new partnerships.
A large number of individuals attended the Iftar gathering from the corporate sector whereas representing the bank and welcoming the guests to the event were Sasi Kumar, Acting CEO; Mustafa Ali Mukhtar, DGM & Acting Head Wholesale Banking; other senior officials from the Bank and members of staff from its Wholesale Banking Division.
Sasi Kumar said, “We are happy and honoured to once again celebrate the Holy month of Ramadan with our corporate clients. This Iftar is symbolic of the strong relationships we have built over the years and the loyalty and trust that has developed as a result. It is also a gesture of thanks and appreciation to our clients for staying with us all these years. These occasions help us connect better with our clients, strengthen relationships and gain a better understanding of their financial requirements.”
The positive turnout at the event is a reflection of the Bank’s strong lead in the wholesale banking segment, which has played a pivotal role in securing greater involvement of the private sector in the economy’s growth. The division has helped to address the requirements of a broader range of customers – in the large, mid, emerging corporate segment and SMEs – by developing products that encompass the entire spectrum of financial requirements in the corporate sector.
