ISAS celebrates 71st Independence Day

MUSCAT: Indian School Al Seeb (ISAS ) celebrated the 71st Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.

Ravi Jayanthy, president, SMC, attended the occasion with his presence. Janvi Johnson the assistant head girl of the school welcomed the gathering. The Ravi delivered the message Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India. At the end of the message, he enthused a highly patriotic fervour among the gathering of parents, staff and the school management committee members by entrusting them with ‘Sankalp se Siddhi – the New India Pledge’, given by Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India.

The school choir enthralled the audience with a highly charged patriotic song –

An inspiring dance drama was performed by the students of the school about the life of Indian soldiers on the border fighting for the nation and sacrificing their comforts, to display the devotion and dedication of our brave soldiers. Rixith Praveen, the assistant head boy of the school proposed the vote of thanks. The programme ended with light refreshment served to the gathering.
