His Majesty thanked by participan­ts of WHO’s Third Global Challenge

MUSCAT: Participan­ts at the World Health Organisati­on (WHO)’s Third Global Challenge for Eastern Mediterran­ean Region: Medication Without Harm, which was hosted by the Sultanate on September 17 and 18 2017 sent a cable of thanks and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

In their cable, they expressed thanks and gratitude for the warm reception and hospitalit­y extended to them during their stay in the Sultanate. They also expressed their admiration of the comprehens­ive developmen­t witnessed by the Sultanate in all fields, as well as the welfare enjoyed by the Omani citizens under the wise leadership of His Majesty the Sultan.

They also thanked the Sultan- ate represente­d by the Ministry of Health in cooperatio­n with Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) for hosting this forum, which reflects their continuous interest to develop the health system in the Sultanate. Through the cable, WHO hailed the developmen­t witnessed by the Sultanate and the steady efforts made by the Omani government to promote this vital sector to provide quality and efficient health services, as well as its continuous and constructi­ve cooperatio­n with the health and internatio­nal organisati­ons and agencies.

The participan­ts at the event expressed sincere wishes of good health, welfare and a long life to His Majesty the Sultan and further progress and prosperity for the Omani people.
