CEO programme’s 3rd batch launched

LAUSANNE (SWITZERLAN­D) : First module for the third batch of the National Programme for CEOs, supervised by the Diwan of Royal Court represente­d by Capability Developmen­t Institute at the Internatio­nal Management Institute in Lausanne, Switzerlan­d was launched on Monday.

The programme, launched in partnershi­p between the private and public sector work team ‘Sharakah’ aims at diversifyi­ng the economy of the Sultanate through developing a community of private sector leaders up to world-class standards.

Strategic leadership

The programme will provide participan­ts with the most and advanced means for strategic leadership to help them identify the main sectors of the Omani economy and add value to their personal perspectiv­e.

The participan­ts will explore the main trends in business op- portunity so that they can use their knowledge in their organisati­ons and leading roles.

The trainers alongside with participan­ts will identify the future aspiration­s, the current challenges and ways for seizing opportunit­ies. It should be noted that the training module include thinking skills and building teams. The participan­ts will also visit Hublot, Nestle, the EU Organisati­on for Nuclear Research (CERN) to review their experience in organisati­onal transforma­tion.
