OOC officials attend ANOC meeting in Prague

MUSCAT: Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) chairman Sheikh Khalid Al Zubair and SecretaryGeneral Taha Al Kishry took part in the General Assembly of Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) held in the city of Prague, Czech Republic, recently.

According to a press statement issued by the OOC on Monday, the meeting held on November 2 and 3 was attended by a host of prominent global sports personalities, including Dr. Thomas Bach, Presi- dent of International Olympic Committee (IOC).

A total of 205 countries represented by their national Olympic committees, 51 international federations and 90 IOC members participated in the meeting.

Saada bint Salim Al Ismaili, Oman Olympic Committee board member, in her capacity as member of Women’s Sport Committee at the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), also attended the ANOC meeting.
