MUSCAT: Under the theme ‘Steps to Give’, Dar al Atta’a is preparing for its first-ever walkathon, on Friday, December 15 at Shangri La Bar Al Jissah Resort at 3:30 pm.

All funds raised at the Walkathon will go to providing school meals for underprivileged students as part of the Student Care Programme that the association manages.

This is the first Walkathon organised by Dar Al Atta’a, therefore, in addition to supporting the noble cause, it is working on making it a memorable and fun experience for all the participants.

The Walkathon will be accompanied with a charity food market, different activities and prize draws, making it a great opportunity to have a fun family day for both children and adults.

Volunteers, school students and employees from different companies along with their family members of different ages will be participating in the event.

You can get the Walkathon tshirts from the association’s main office in Bausher, every day from 8 am to 3 pm.

They will also be available for purchase at Oman Avenues Mall, Muscat Grand Mall, Qurum City Center, Muscat City Center and al Mouj Muscat.

One shirt worth OMR4 will help provide an entire month’s supply of daily school meals for an underprivileged child.
