Six teams to take part in Auditors Cup

MUSCAT: The Auditors Cup cricket tournament, to be organised on December 15 and 16, has attracted as many as six teams from local auditor firms. The two-day tournament will take place at Al Ghubra Power Plant Ground and the teams which have confirmed their participation are Crowe Horwath, Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton, H.C. Shah & Co., Ibn Hyan Chartered Accountants and KPMG.

The organising committee, under Davis Kallukaran, Managing Partner at Crowe Horwath, met here recently to finalise the plans to organise the tournament.

During the committee meeting, Davis Kallukaran said that cricket being one of the most popular sports in the world has the power to bring together people from across the globe. The tournament, he hoped, will play an important role in building relations among the audit fraternity in Oman, which should ultimately contribute to further charitable causes in Oman.
