Bancroft: Anderson likely less ‘damaging’ in Perth
SYDNEY: England opening bowler James Anderson is unlikely to get the same swing and movement that made him “very damaging” during the second Ashes Test but will still be a handful early on in Perth, Australia’s Cameron Bancroft has said. Anderson was at his unplayable best with the pink ball in Australia’s second innings in the day-night Test in Adelaide and took five for 43 to bowl the hosts out for 138 and give his side an outside chance of squaring the series.
