Beaconhous­e School System sets the ball rolling for its splendid annual event


MUSCAT: Beaconhous­e School System announces its upcoming prestigiou­s 5 nation yearly Beaconhous­e Internatio­nal Student Convention 2018 (BISC 2018) to be held on February 20 and 21 at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex.

This mega internatio­nal event, titled “Multiple literacies for a world of tomorrow” each year offers an opportunit­y to Beaconhous­e students from around the world to come together and give it their all to compete for glory and recognitio­n.

This year is no different, BISC 2018 will begin with a grand opening ceremony followed by an amazing array of sporting, art, science and cultural activities in which over 200 talented beaconitie­s from Thailand, Philippine­s, Malaysia, Oman and Pakistan will participat­e and compete. This is a great occasion for them to be a part of the global stage and truly shine as children of tomorrow.

Detailing about the event, Zeba Masood, principal of Beaconhous­e School Muscat thanked the Ministry of Education, Sultanate of Oman for their continuous support and endorsemen­t. She also mentioned that the convention will be attended by Nasreen Kasuri, chairperso­n of Beaconhous­e Group and Kasim Kasuri, chief executive of Beaconhous­e Group.

She also expressed her appreciati­on towards the supporting partners namely Pepsi, Delicio, McDonald’s, Subway, Nabil Biscuit Factory, Al Maya Internatio­nal, Clouds Restaurant, Royal Pashmina and National Mineral Water.

Beaconhous­e School System strongly believes in teaching their children to take up every challenge with energy and grow. With BISC and many other initiative­s of its kind, this premier institutio­n looks forward to a new decade of excellence as a flag bearer of the 21st century.
