Dhofar Automotive wins Regional Mopar Contest
The contest specialises in Jeep Wrangler models equipped with the genuine Mopar accessories
MUSCAT: Dhofar Automotive, the official distributor of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and RAM vehicles in Oman, has been crowned as champion of the 2nd Regional Mopar Contest.
The event, which was organised in commemoration of Mopar’s 80th Anniversary saw the participation of a number of distributors of the Mopar brand in the region. A special celebration was organised to commemorate the victory. The event was overseen by Rhett Maxwell, the general manager of Dhofar Automotive, and was attended by members of Oman Jeep Owners Club, Oman Jeep Heroes, as well as fans of the Jeep and Mopar brands.
The recently held Regional Mopar Contest required a Jeep Wrangler to be modified using only genuine Mopar accessories and witnessed the entry of a vast number of contenders for the title. The entry from Dhofar Automotive ultimately won the contest.

Dhofar Automotive’s winning Wrangler, which was created as a special edition just for the contest, featured a number of such accessories including, a 4” suspension lift, custom wheels, Mopar front and rear bumpers and hood, modified sills and skid plates, Mopar cold air intake, winch kit, and much more.
