Governor of Muscat to hand over scouting cup

MUSCAT: As delegated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat will sponsor on Thursday to hand over HM Sultan Qaboos Cup for Scouting and Guidance Excellence for the academic year 2016/2017. The event is being organised by the Ministry of Education and will be held at the Ministry’s theatre in Al Wattiyah.

During the event, the Governorate of Muscat will be crowned with the Supreme Scout Cup. As for the winners of the excellence cup, the Governorate of South Batinah Scouting Commission came second, the Governorate of A’Dakhiliyah Scouting Commission came third, the Governorate of Dhofar Scouting Commission came fourth and the Governorate of Al Wusta Scouting Commission came fifth.
