MUSCAT: The 8th ‘Calculate it Right’ workshop series was held recently at National Business Centre (NBC) in Muscat.
These series of workshops come as a result of a cooperation agreement signed between National Finance Company and Fund for Development of Youth Projects (Sharakah). These workshops are aimed at making business owners better understand how to calculate project cost, sales assumptions, required resources, operational expenses and the cost of capital.
The workshop in Muscat was presided by Aziz bin Salim Al Hasani, Baushar Shura Council Member who handed the certificates to the participants. Mohammed Al Marzouki, Senior Manager, National Finance said in appreciation of the cooperation agreement between Sharakah and National Finance, “The workshop was the 8th among the planned upcoming workshops that will be executed. These workshops enable us to connect with SMEs to broaden our understanding of their needs and different challenges they face. This allows us to widen the range of services that are catered for SMEs.”
Mulkie Al Hashmi, marketing director at NBCF added, “We are delighted to see the interest SMEs have shown in the workshop and their willingness to engage with its content. It shows commitment towards enhancing the level of professionalism in their business practices in general and in the efficiency of resources allocation in particular. More importantly, the workshop focuses on increasing the sustainability of the business to strengthen their position against the different economic cycle.”
Umaima Al Ghadani, Investment Manager at Sharakah said, “#Calculate_it_right workshops are organised not only to offer rich content but also to create a platform where SMEs connect and promote themselves and the services they offer for the community.”
