An Omani student won the best influential video content maker award in the first season of Sadeem, a TV show and contest for social media influencers of the Arab World.

Ali Said Al Niyadi, a 24-year-old student who studies computer systems in Ireland, reached the finals along with two other contestants from Libya and Algeria.

His final stage video titled “Take Advantage of Opportunities”, delivered a message on how to make the most of life’s opportunities one might receive, even via a phone call.

His other videos in the earlier stages of the contest addressed various issues such as child molestation, dream achievement, and life battles.

On his Twitter account, Ali said, “I convey my deep thanks to you all. Thanks first to Allah, and the prayers of my parents, I was crowned the champion of the first season of Sadeem. It is such an indescribable happiness.”

The contestants of Sadeem underwent various challenges in different countries, during which they had to address them by making influential videos.

Ali is passionate about football and uses some of his leisure time in creating content about a student’s life abroad. He always works to develop his talents and dreams to benefit the larger segment of the people.

It is worth mentioning that out of 18,000 applications submitted to Sadeem, 20 have been selected for the training camp, and nine have been shortlisted for the challenges stage, with only three of them reaching the finals.

Sadeem was aimed at finding the best content makers in the Arab World, and equipping them with state-of-the-art technologies and expertise so their influence can reach the largest possible segment of people.
