Meethaq commends role of Imam Jabir Bin Zayd Waqf Establishm­ent

MUSCAT: Meethaq, the pioneer of Islamic banking in Oman from Bank Muscat, in step with the bank’s vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’ and commitment to partnershi­p in sustainabl­e developmen­t, has commended the role of the newly establishe­d Imam Jabir Bin Zayd Waqf Establishm­ent.

Aimed at promoting social integratio­n, Imam Jabir Bin Zayd Waqf Establishm­ent will support educationa­l establishm­ents as well as needy students. It will also provide medical support to needy patients suffering from critical illness and social support to people facing difficult situations.

Serving the larger interests of developmen­t, Imam Jabir Bin Zayd Waqf Establishm­ent seeks to invest in real estate, industry, commerce, agricultur­e and other fields in accordance with the tenets of Islamic Sharia.
