Bank So­har picks fourth monthly draw winners of Al Mu­mayaz

MUS­CAT: Bank So­har held its fourth monthly prize draws for the Al Mu­mayaz Sav­ings Scheme an­nounc­ing 44 lucky winners, at the bank’s Ibri branch, un­der the pa­tron­age of Dr Kha­laf bin Salim bin Ab­dul­lah Al Ishaqi, Wali of Ibri.

Rep­re­sent­ing the bank at the event was Khamis Ma­soud Al Rahbi, Se­nior AGM Re­tail Bank­ing, head of Re­tail Bank­ing at Bank So­har, Redha Al Lawati, se­nior chief man­ager of Re­tail Li­a­bil­i­ties and Sales and Hamed Nasser Al Hi­nai, se­nior branch man­ager of Ibri Branch mark­ing the bank’s prom­ise to fur­ther cus­tomer ex­cel­lence with con­tin­ued re­wards for loy­alty and sav­ings.

The event wel­comed guests from across Ibri and neigh­bour­ing wilay­ats for a tra­di­tional gath­er­ing with Omani cof­fee and halwa. Hamed Nasser Al Hi­nai, se­nior branch man­ager of Ibri Branch de­liv­ered a short wel­come speech, fol­lowed by a beau­ti­ful flow of po­etry from the Omani poet Mo­hamed Al Hi­nai. A short over­view on the Al Mu­mayaz Sav­ings Scheme 2018 was given to at­ten­dees by Redha Al Lawati fol­lowed by hon­our­ing of Ibri Band for Per­form­ing Arts who have emerged re­cently as group ded­i­cated to pos­i­tive change in the com­mu­nity. The event was crowned by re­veal­ing the names of the lucky winners for the month of April. The day’s de­liv­er­ance of prizes be­gan be­fore­hand with an au­di­ence raf­fle and fi­nally ended with the guest of hon­our be­ing given a to­ken of ap­pre­ci­a­tion by the bank of­fi­cials and a group photo.

Ap­plaud­ing the winners, Ra­jeev Arora, DGM and head of Re­tail Bank­ing at Bank So­har said, “This year we em­barked upon an agenda that kicked off with re­newed vigour de­not­ing 2018 as the ‘Year of You’. The Al Mu­mayaz Sav­ings Scheme 2018 Monthly Draws wit­nessed F. M. M. and J.M. H. win OMR5,000 un­der the Gen­eral Draw cat­e­gory; whilst Baraa Al Balushi (Mi­nor) and Jude Al Ja­mali (Mi­nor) col­lected OMR500 each in the Chil­dren’s Draw; in ad­di­tion to Q.A. and A.S. Al Jadeed­is­coop­ing OMR2,500 each in the Women’s Draw; and Saif Al Sar­i­hi­and M.A.M. tak­ing OMR10,000 in the exclusive draws.

The monthly spe­cial branch draws wit­nessed cus­tomers from each of the bank’s branches win OMR1,000 each. This in­cluded Nasser Al Ba­dias the lucky win­ner from the Al Bu­raimi Branch, A. Un­der the bank’s gen­eral draws the 2018 edi­tion of Al Mu­mayaz Sav­ings Scheme of­fers a chance to win OMR1,000 daily, as well as OMR5,000 monthly (2 winners), and OMR20,000 at year’s end (4 winners). Award­ing mi­nors and en­cour­ag­ing them and their par­ents to save, the Chil­dren’s Draw of­fers OMR100 daily, OMR500 monthly (2 winners), and OMR2,500 at year’s end (4 winners). In­cor­po­rat­ing the fe­male seg­ment of the cus­tomer base, the scheme of­fers ded­i­cated fe­male draws of OMR500 daily, OMR2,500 monthly (2 winners), and OMR10,000 at year’s end (4 winners). Re­ward­ing those that save more, the Exclusive Draws of­fer OMR1,500 daily, OMR10,000 monthly (2 winners), and OMR50,000 at year’s end (4 winners). En­sur­ing that it re­wards cus­tomers at each and ev­ery branch, spe­cial branch draws of­fer OMR1,000 monthly for one lucky win­ner in each re­spec­tive lo­cale na­tion­wide.

To be­come el­i­gi­ble cus­tomers need to main­tain a min­i­mum monthly average bal­ance of OMR100 for the daily gen­eral, chil­dren’s, and ladies draws; the monthly chil­dren and branch draws; as well as the Chil­dren’s Draw at year’s end. En­try into the monthly and an­nual se­lec­tion re­quires a min­i­mum monthly average bal­ance of OMR1,000. El­i­gi­bil­ity to the monthly fe­male and gen­eral draws; as well as the year’s end ladies and Gen­eral Draws, cus­tomers need to main­tain a min­i­mum monthly average bal­ance off OMR1,000. Main­tain­ing a min­i­mum monthly average bal­ance of OMR10,000 en­ti­tles cus­tomers to en­ter the Exclusive Daily, monthly, and yearly draws. Ac­count hold­ers have four en­tries for ev­ery min­i­mum average bal­ance main­tained in any of the above draws.

Chil­dren’s ac­counts re­ceive dou­ble the chance of win­ning. Sav­ing ac­counts that are main­tained in AED, GBP and USD are also el­i­gi­ble to par­tic­i­pate in the Al Mu­mayaz Sav­ings Scheme. Cus­tomers seek­ing ad­di­tional ben­e­fits from sav­ing with­out par­tic­i­pat­ing in prize draws should con­tact the bank to dis­cuss high in­ter­est ac­counts.
