“I am grateful to have won this prize, but my happiness will be doubled if I am able to help someone in need by doing my bit and giving away a part of the money I won to charity. You see, I too want to be a part of those who ‘Spread More Smiles’ and make a change in someone’s life.”

On a lighter note, Prithiani, who is visiting his parents in India, joked, “I was actually in the bathroom when I received the call during the radio’s morning show. I knew that if I missed the call, I wouldn’t win the cash! Now, that I have actually won, I want to treat my family and take them out for a lavish dinner and share this happy moment with them.”

Baathisha Rahman, who lives all the way in Musandam, was on top of the world when he learnt that he had won the prize. “I cannot wait to meet the T FM team and thank them in person for giving me the chance to win; I participated thinking I will be helping others, and didn’t realise I would myself win something,” he said.

Indrajeet from West Bengal and Naseema from Hyderabad promised to invite the entire team over for some lip-smacking Bengali and Hyderabadi dishes respectively. “You are all invited over to my house. I will prepare a traditional Bengali dish for all of you and we can have a meal together,” said Indrajeet. On the other hand, Naseema’s motherly instincts stirred up and she too invited the entire team to savour traditional Hyderabadi biryani at her home.

“Over the past two weeks, we have had winners from all walks of life and we couldn’t be happier to give away the OMR100 cash prize to all of them; we are all so humbled by the generosity they show and the thoughts they have towards celebrating in their own small way, as well as helping those in need,” said Garima Bhandari, programme director, T FM 95.4. “The whole purpose of the ‘Spread More Smiles’ campaign has been achieved,” she said.

“We step into the final week of the campaign and urge all our listeners to keep sending in those texts to try their final chance at winning through the week,” Bhandari added.

T FM 95.4 launched this year’s Ramadan campaign supported by Mitsubishi and Omantel, giving a chance to its listeners to win a daily cash prize of OMR100 and a Mitsubishi Pajero every week. A generous portion of the money generated by the SMSs sent will be contributed towards Dar Al Atta’a at the end of the Holy Month.

Tune in tonight to T FM 95.4 as we announce our 3rd lucky winner of the Mitsubishi Pajero. To participate, SMS ‘TFM’ to 91933.
