Starcare Hospital Barka organises conference

MUSCAT: A doctor’s conference was conducted by Starcare Hospital Barka recently at Al Nahda Resorts & Spa and was attended by a majority of the doctors practising in the Barka region.

The conference was inaugurated by Dr Sadik Kodakat, the chairman of Starcare Systems UK and Managing Director Dr Askar Kukkadi was also present. Mohammed Al Farsi, Chief Operations Officer, thanked the dignitaries for their support and cooperation.

Dr Sadik spoke on length about how ‘quality health care’ should be accessible to people in all walks of life, irrespective of region. It is with this vision that we decided to open our biggest hospital in Barka. The new facility in Barka i.e. Starcare Hospital Barka has 3 Operation Theatres, Endoscopy Suites, Cuddles Birthing Suites, Orionis – Dermatology Centre, Paedia 24 and an MRI Scan centre is also coming up in next few months. The hospital has started its operations with 70 beds, which will be increased to 100 beds in the next phase. This shows our commitment to quality health care to the people of Oman, he added.
