Ahlibank supports social security families children
Ahlibank provided back to school essentials such as school bags, pens, notebooks and various stationary which were purchased by the bank and staff to the students
MUSCAT: As part of ahlibank’s corporate social responsibility initiatives in supporting the local community, ahlibank team, in association with the Ministry of Education (MOE), and Ministry of Social Development (MOSD) initiated a drive for the students of Social Security Families on the occasion of the new Academic Year 2018/2019.
ahlibank provided back to school essentials such as school bags, pens, notebooks and various stationary which were purchased by the bank and staff to the students.
The ‘Back to School’ initiative was carried out by the ahlibank Voluntary Team ‘Ahli Cares’ for children registered in Grades X and below. Children from an array of 19 schools in Muscat Governance were selected.
Recently ‘Ahli Cares’ Team accompanied by senior management members of the bank visited the Mutrah Wali office before heading to the schools. Sayyid Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi – Wali of Mutrah welcomed the ahlibank team in his office in Mutrah and was pleased to witness such initiatives towards the community as part of the corporate social responsibilities of the bank and appreciated the support extended to the families.
The #ahli_cares team combined with MOSD Muscat Directorate officials were present to oversee distribution of school supplies in each of the centres along with the head of the parent’s council of each school.

It is in the best interest of the nation for each able person to join hands to further the development of our society. ahlibank recognises children’s potential as the building blocks of tomorrow and we believe in investing in their education for a well-rounded fulfilling outcome,” commented Said Abdullah Al Hatmi, chief executive officer, ahlibank.
