Northern Ireland to showcase world-class education sector

MUSCAT: Invest NI, the economic developmen­t agency for Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, has organised a stand for the first time at this year’s EduTrac Oman, to showcase the region’s world-class education sector and promote opportunit­ies for study in Northern Ireland.

Known for its inspiratio­nal locations and stunning landscapes, Northern Ireland is also recognised as having one of the best education systems in Europe. Every year thousands of internatio­nal students travel to study at one of its universiti­es, boarding schools, vocational education colleges or English language schools. As well as having a world-class education system, Northern Ireland is also renowned for its high quality of life, low cost of living, clean environmen­t, lively social scene and friendline­ss of its people. The region has excellent connectivi­ty to other UK cities and continenta­l Europe with daily flights to a range of destinatio­ns as well as a direct flight to the US.

Northern Ireland’s world-class universiti­es, Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University will be present at the Northern Ireland stand at EduTracto advise potential students, parents and education counsellor­s of options for both undergradu­ate and postgradua­te study.
