MUSCAT: The all-new 2019 BAIC X65, which promises customers a pleasant driving experience along with advanced safety and excellent performanc­e, is now available at a low monthly installmen­t of OMR80 onwards. The Built to Amaze all-new BAIC X65 has been commanding attention with its dynamic features and outstandin­g performanc­e ever since its launch in Oman in July this year.

As the first urban crossover based on SAAB technologi­es, the key features of BAIC all-new X65 comfort are 2.0 Litre Turbo Engine with 174 hp, 6 Speed Automatic Transmissi­on, 17’’ Alloy wheels, DRL, Panoramic Sunroof, 8’’ Display Screen, Rear View Camera, Reverse Parking Sensors, Front Side Airbags, Bluetooth, Power Driver seat-ways, Outside rear view mirror-Electric Fold, Leather Seats, Cruise Control, Bluetooth, Paddle shift, Rear AC, 6 Speakers, Electric power steering, ABS+EBD+ESP+TPMS and Rear Wiper.

The all-new 2019 model BAIC X65 2WD crossover with 2.0 litre turbo engine comes in two variants – Basic and Comfort. Offering space of an MPV and comfort of a sedan, BAIC X65 stands out for its stunning design, advanced technology and empowering performanc­e.

The X65 Crossover Basic grade is also loaded with Exterior features which includes Sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, headlight automatic lights, DRL, roof rail and rear spoiler, tire 225/60 R17 and rear wiper, few of the features of interiors are keyless entry and push button start, Cruise and Audio controls in steering wheel, Leather seats, 6 speakers, AUX/ USB/MP3 and power window. Safety features include ABS+EBD, HPS, dual airbags, ESP and TPMS, parking sensor, central locking, theft-deterrent alarm system and immobilize­r.

In the X65 Comfort Grade which includes the Basic model features, in additions are Panoramic Sunroof, 8-inch display screen, Rear view camera, front side airbag, Bluetooth, power driver seat- 6-way, ORVM-electric fold and heated.

The Crossover BAIC X65 has European safety standard, Bosch ESP and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and five-star rating safety level ranked by China New Car Assessment Programme.

BAIC acquired SAAB (Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolag­et) which is a North European brand from Sweden. At the end of 2009, BAIC Motor took over the SAAB’s core assets, including its 9-5/9-3 vehicle platform, turbo engine transmissi­on, R&D, manufactur­ing and supplier systems. The SAAB unique front wheel drive and steering technology was also inherited by BAIC.

Gulf Great Sands has a state of art service centre in Ghala, Muscat, spread over more than 2900 square meters to provide aftersales services to BAIC customers. GGS has already tied up for Periodic Maintenanc­e Services in many cities including Salalah, Sohar, Sur, Nizwa, Ibra, Ibri and Barka, etc.
