Omani exhibits at Arab Expat Day appreciated by visitors
MOSCOW: The Omani Students’ Association in cooperation with the Embassy of the Sultanate in the activities of the Arab Expatriate Day organised by the mission of the Arab League in Moscow.
The participation of Omani students in the exhibition included a collection of traditional silver objects, a variety of photographs and booklets about Oman’s cultural, historical and cultural diversity, Omani customs and traditions, and a collection of ancient manuscripts reflecting the depth of Omani-Russian relations.
“The participation of the Omani Students Association came in response to the invitation of the Arab League Mission to the Arab Embassies to organize the Arab Expatriate Day ,” said Mazin bin Said Al Muqbali, Head of the Omani Students Association in Moscow, who added that the day is organised in celebration of the Arab expatriate who represents the Arab culture and identity in the country of expatriation, in addition to a bridge for communication with Russian society, and for the role of the expatriate in the service of his motherland based on the experience and science acquired during the period he is away from his country.
The Omani exhibition attracted many Arab and foreign visitors who expressed their admiration for the exhibits and expressed their appreciation for the Sultanate which maintains balanced relations with all peoples and countries of the world.
