TSC supports underprivileged families linked to Oman Autism Society with food boxes

-

MUSCAT: Following the recent launch of its Healthy Living Campaign, the Sultan Center has reiterated its commitment to local communities and aiding the advancement of their lifestyles, committing to the delivery of 100 boxes of essential everyday food items to underprivileged families holding membership at Oman Autism Society.

Mahmoud Al Sheikh, Marketing Manager at TSC, commented, “TSC’s contributions to the local communities retains a practical focus on aiding society and those in need, providing assistance where possible, with a view to inspire outcomes that we hope will be a better quality of life for our beneficiaries and their loved ones. Ensuring the health and wellbeing of local communities is a starting point for Oman’s socio-economic advancement; after all if we cannot sustain ourselves at home we cannot go beyond and contribute to something greater than our family. Thus, as part of our current campaign on healthy living we wanted to reach out and extend a helping hand with a gesture that would support families in a ‘back to basics’ approach to meeting fundamental needs”.

TSC’s CSR programme recently launched its healthy living campaign in an effort to inspire local communities with healthier lifestyles, giving shoppers free health foods at TSC Qurm, Al Khoud, and Al Amerat.

Other notable contributions by TSC in 2018 including initiatives that benefited the environment, such as its recent voluntary beach clean-up, to food and donation drives to aid low income families, and support for cancer patients cared for by Dar Al Hanan.
