Takatuf conducts workshop on attracting talent in SMEs

MUSCAT: Takatuf, Oman’s leading provider of innovative Human Capital solutions was the HR Knowledge Partner ofthe 6th edition of the highly successful Oman Forum 2018.

Held at the Crowne Plaza on the December 17th, the Forum, an annual Arabic summit was organized by the leading Arabic business magazine Alam Al Iktisaad Wal A’mal (AIWA). Comprising of panel sessions and workshops, this year the focus was on SMEs. The panel session theme included ‘Leveraging Efficienci­es for Success’ and ‘Developing a Supportive Eco-system for SMEs growth’.

Aimed at empowering the SME community, Hilal Al Jadidi, Takatuf Consulting Services Director conducted a workshop on ‘How to be a successful HR Manager in one hour’. This apart, Hilal Al Jadidi also conducted a presentati­on titled ‘Managing & Attracting Talent in SMEs.’

The presentati­on covered key aspects of what SMEs can learn from leading companies in human resources management, an overview on global human resources recent practices, employee experience within the organizati­on, aspects which distinguis­hes human resources management in SMEs and case studies.

“The entreprene­ur on day one is expected to assume an HR role. They are also expected to manage the recruitmen­t process, pay the payroll, manage the training and developmen­t and at the same time, create a working environmen­t that captures the spirit of an entreprene­urial organizati­on.” said, Hilal Al Jadidi.

Takatuf sees itself as a strategic investor in the human capital requiremen­ts of the nation and this workshop is yet another way in which Takatuf is able to contribute in a meaningful way in empowering SMEs.
