Takatuf conducts workshop on attracting talent in SMEs
MUSCAT: Takatuf, Oman’s leading provider of innovative Human Capital solutions was the HR Knowledge Partner ofthe 6th edition of the highly successful Oman Forum 2018.
Held at the Crowne Plaza on the December 17th, the Forum, an annual Arabic summit was organized by the leading Arabic business magazine Alam Al Iktisaad Wal A’mal (AIWA). Comprising of panel sessions and workshops, this year the focus was on SMEs. The panel session theme included ‘Leveraging Efficiencies for Success’ and ‘Developing a Supportive Eco-system for SMEs growth’.
Aimed at empowering the SME community, Hilal Al Jadidi, Takatuf Consulting Services Director conducted a workshop on ‘How to be a successful HR Manager in one hour’. This apart, Hilal Al Jadidi also conducted a presentation titled ‘Managing & Attracting Talent in SMEs.’
The presentation covered key aspects of what SMEs can learn from leading companies in human resources management, an overview on global human resources recent practices, employee experience within the organization, aspects which distinguishes human resources management in SMEs and case studies.
“The entrepreneur on day one is expected to assume an HR role. They are also expected to manage the recruitment process, pay the payroll, manage the training and development and at the same time, create a working environment that captures the spirit of an entrepreneurial organization.” said, Hilal Al Jadidi.
