Grand Hyatt Muscat gears up for festive season celebrations

MUSCAT: It’s festive time at the Grand Hyatt Muscat. The halls are decked and the stage is set to welcome the celebrations with a spectacular ‘Jingle Bells Christmas Brunch’ and the grand New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Guests looking to tuck into traditional home baked Christmas favorites can come over to Sirj Tea Lounge, which is bedecked to serve festive delicacies till the December 25, between 10am to 10pm. These Christmas delights, created by Grand Hyatt’s culinary experts, will also be available for purchase at la carte prices.

To usher in Christmas in style, the hotel will present a special Christmas Eve buffet dinner at the Mokha Café on December 24. The festive buffet, featuring a range of festive items and themes, is designed to take guests on a gastronomical journey and is available at OMR30 including a glass of sparkling or OMR26 non-alcoholic cocktail and OMR13 children (6 to 12 years old)

Christmas Eve at The Grill House promises to be a fulfilling affair, in every sense of the word. Guests can dine under the stars with a host of options from the grill, including slow roast Turkey. Foodies can look forward to a variety of seafood, poultry and beef dishes – all cooked to perfection by the team of talented chefs. The buffet will be priced OMR30, inclusive of seafood or poultry inclusive of turkey; OMR39 with beef, seafood platter or surf ‘n’ turf; and OMR45 for Wagyu, Angus beef or seafood. Prices include unlimited house wines, beers and spirits. Diners at Tuscany can opt for the Special Christmas Eve menu, which will be priced a la carte.

Christmas day will be a family affair with the ‘Jingle Bells Brunch’ at Mokha Café, from 1pm to 4:30pm, on December 25. The Brunch will feature live cooking stations that will serve traditional Christmas dishes as well as international delights, to the accompaniment of some live beats. The Brunch is priced OMR42 including a glass of sparkling, OMR19 (children) and OMR15 unlimited house beverages, plus an array of signature cocktails

This time around, the New Year’s Eve will be a French Affairat ‘The Garden’. ‘Paris by Night - NYE’ will be reminiscent of the unique fashion trends and glamour quotient, presenting a perfect platform to ring in the New Year in style. Guests attending the gala dinner at The Garden/ The Grill House or Tuscany will be welcomed at the Grand Lobby from 7pm onwards, to enjoy some aperitifs and special handcrafted drinks. Guests are invited to get ready to witness the night unfold and bid adieu to 2018 with # no regrets.

The award winning International band ‘The Swing Revue’ will perform from 8pm onwards along with some exciting performers taking the fun quotient of the evening to a top-notch.

At Tuscany, guests can indulge in a true Italian style New Year’s Eve, from 8pm onwards. On offer is an elegant 5-course menu, including premium beverages (price OMR85 for adults and OMR40 for children - 6 to 12 years).

Countdown to the New Year will be a in a setting conspired to evoke a sense of nostalgia. The Grill House offers a perfect setting to immerse in the evocative mood of the evening. On the agenda is a Special Gourmet Set Menu, which includes premium beverages with live entertainment. The evening begins at 8pm, offering a host of beverages at prices of OMR65 for adults and OMR35 for children (6 to 12 years).

Guests attending the Hotel’s NYE functions could avail the free special children’s area - Camp Hyatt –and enjoy a stress-free party. The NYE kids’ area, featuring a PlayStation with options for movies, face painting, snacks and soft beverages, will be supervised by on-site nannies from 7pm to 2am.
