Mubashir expansion leads retail digital transformation for a smarter city

-

MUSCAT: Galvanised by the success of its Customer Interface Screens (CIS) introduced at Shell Service Stations in Muscat, Mubashir – the award-winning Omani digital solutions firm – is set to roll out its innovative digital display technology across service stations on high traffic routes in the city and beyond.

Latest additions to the growing network includes Shell Sarooj Service Station at (Shatti Al Qurum) and Shell Azaiba Service Station. With this expansion, the total number of Customer Interface Screens installed across the capital soars to an impressive 56 screens, effectively creating a formidable digital platform that has a reach of half a million ad displays per month – consumers who get to enjoy customised high-definition information, brand messages and consumer offers from the convenience of their vehicles as they top up.

Advertisers, marketers and government agencies can now harness this powerful platform, which leverages digital out-ofhome (OOH) technology, for their brand messaging, product marketing, upcoming events and CSR communications. Coverage of this network now extends across key strategic locations of Muscat, notably Al Qurum Mina Al Fahal, Sarooj – Shatti Al Qurm – Al Khuwair (Muscat Expressway exit), 18th November Street (Al Moujarea), Al Athaiba highway (before Airport exit), Al Mawaleh and Al Khoudh.

Growing numbers of retailers are embracing Mubashir’s platform to get their brand messaging across to their customers. The technology’s potent efficacy is also borne out by numerous international surveys and credible research demonstrating that digital OOH media is one of the hottest trends in capturing the attention of audiences in public environments. Bloomberg News, for example, has reported that digital OOH campaigns are found to generate a 24% increase in brand trust, 106% increase in perception of brand quality and a 275% boost in customer loyalty, when brands dedicate 15% or more of their media budgets to out-of-home platforms.

Thus, it’s no surprise that some of the biggest corporate institutions and clients in the Sultanate, spanning Telecommunications, Banking, Automotive, Insurance, Restaurant Franchises, and government and other sectors, are now part of a growing client base eager to take advantage of the power and flexibility of digital multimedia services offered by Mubashir.

Commenting on the expansion of Mubashir’s network, Ali Al Raisi, CEO, said, “We are very proud to be part of the retail digital transformation initiative currently underway in Muscat. As a dynamic technology solutions company, Mubashir is keen to bring the latest global innovations to the retail sector in Oman for the benefit of our core pillars: Retailers, Advertisers and Customers.”

“Our Customer Interface Screens harness DOOH technology to disseminate relevant content to the customers, such as safety messages, special offers, fuel type requested, price per litre, and number of litres dispensed – details that help enhance the customer journey while fueling.Going forward, we anticipate a robust uptake of our platform solutions as more and more clients and retailers look to Mubashir to transform their retail business experience with our smart measurable technology,” he added.
