The initiation requires great technical efforts to be able to provide the service to various buildings in the area. The CEO also expressed appreciation towards those working hard in the area and for the great efforts in the completion of the project, praising the remarkable progress witnessed in the various projects.

“The construction of a new STP in Darsait came in line with the rapid development of the population, as the plant is designed with the latest technologies to treat sewage and control odour. The plant has a capacity of about 37 thousand cubic metres per day and will be completed in July,” he said.

He added that after the operation of the STP, they would also link the residential, commercial and governmental buildings in the areas in Wadi Kabir, Ruwi and other areas that belong to the Muttrah to the new plant.
