Bank Muscat honoured by Oman Journalist Association
MUSCAT: Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, in recognition of its vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’ and commitment to partnership in sustainable development, was honoured by the Oman Journalist Association (OJA), which marked its 14th anniversary under the auspices of Sheikh Al Fadhil bin Mohammed Al Harthy, SecretaryGeneral of the Council of Ministers.
Ahmed Al Barami, Deputy General Manager, Relationships & Placements, received a memento from the guest of honour in appreciation of the bank’s key support to media activities in Oman.

The bank reckons that a strong media is required to reflect the development march of the nation and serve as an effective tool in showcasing the achievements of the country. As a forward looking financial institution, Bank Muscat is at the forefront in contributing to society and thereby setting a fine example for the corporate sector to develop social responsibility as a corporate culture.
The bank commended the efforts of Omani journalists for playing an important role in supporting the progress and development of Oman. The support to OJA comes in appreciation of the important role played by media in the development march of Oman. As the nation’s leading financial institution, the bank aims to convey the message of support to all segments of society in contributing to the development of Oman.
The OJA thanked Bank Muscat for leading by example in encouraging media activities in Oman. The bank’s support will go a long way in building a strong media in Oman, it added.
