Travelex, iREMIT partnership to help Filipino community
MUSCAT: Travelex, the world’s leading foreign exchange company, recently partnered with authorized Philippines-based remittance agency iREMIT to offer the best in money transfer solutions to its Filipino customers in Oman.
The launch event was held in Muscat on Friday, the 8th of February, with VIPs from the Philippines embassy and community in attendance.
The new service will grant Filipino customers the ease to send and receive money seamlessly and will be accessible at all Travelex branches across the Sultanate including Goubra, Sohar City Centre, Mabela, Muscat International Airport, and soon in Qurum City Center.
iREMIT is a name that resonates amongst overseas Filipino workers as a secure and trusted means of transferring money to the Philippines through its network of 22,500 cash pick up locations, as well as credit to any bank in the Philippines.
This latest partnership comes as part of Travelex’s efforts to increase strategic market alliances and initiatives in order to offer a wider variety of remittance options to its customers. Since the launch of its first store in 2003, Travelex Oman has solidified its rapid growth in the Sultanate through its line-up of innovative product offerings.
