P.F. Chang’s makes Oman debut

-

MUSCAT: Residents of Oman can now enjoy P.F. Chang’s popular dynamite shrimps as the brand makes its debut with the opening of their first restaurant in Oman Avenues Mall.

P.F. Chang’s, the world’s number one award-winning Asian bistro, is a casual restaurant offering full-service Asian-inspired dining that is innovative, attentive and fresh and presents flavours from different regions of China like Hunan, Sichuan, Mongolia, Peking and Canton, as well as cuisine from Southeast Asia.

Most dishes at P.F. Chang’s are cooked in a northern-style Chinese wok at 900-degrees Fahrenheit, creating a “wok hay” or “breath of the wok” which results in a mix of unique smoky, caramelized flavours and crispy textures that can only be achieved using this ancient traditional technique. The à-la-carte menu offers a variety of signature dishes, all prepared-to-order using only the finest ingredients. These include favourites such as Dynamite Shrimp, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Mongolian Beef and Great Wall of Chocolate.

“We’re confident our unique style of made-from-scratch cooking using wholesome ingredients, purposeful recipes and the power of the fiery wok will be a hit with the people in Muscat Oman,” said Philip Chiang, CoFounder of P.F. Chang’s.

The brand expresses a perfect balance between the Asian tradition and modern American style. The trendy and upscale restaurant maintains its focus on guest comfort and hospitality, a delectable menu, eye-catching décor and lively ambience, which are synonymous with P.F. Chang’s in all its worldwide branches.

“Spring & Fall” represents the theme of the new branch and features the symbolic maple tree that holds a major part of Asian art and poetry. The mural represents the serenity and balance of the world’s elements, in addition to the energy of the changing seasons.

“We are happy to be opening our first branch in Oman and are extremely excited to share the P.F Chang’s heritage with the people of Oman. We are confident our unique Asian-inspired offerings will resonate with the people here,” said Jim Dunn, the brand’s Vice President.
