MUSCAT: With creative inputs from Zubair Small Enterprises Centre (Zubair SEC), its member Nasser Abdullah Nasser Al Mawali’s company Aljoud Mill has unveiled new packaging in a move to better present its products and enhance market positioning.

Nasser Al Mawali, founder of Aljoud Mill is the winner of the fourth edition of the Direct Support Programme 2017 organised by Zubair SEC. He has been running a successful grinding mill since the launch of its business.

The newly packaged Aljoud Mill products will be rolled out across all supermarkets and stores across the Sultanate. Created to appeal to new and existing customers, the updated packaging design aims to highlight the brand’s promise and business vision. Available in red and blue colours, the product packaging is sold in 200, 500 and one kg packets. The colours red and blue have been selected to draw attention to the product since it is said to stimulate the senses and attract the potential customer.

Nasser Al Mawali received wide-ranging advisory and guidance from the experts at Zubair SEC for the new packaging for Aljoud Mill products including lentils, cereals, legumes, beans, spices, coffee, and flour. Blue colour packing has been used for cereals and legumes and red has been used for spices.

Ali Shaker, Adviser - Business Development & Strategic Partnerships at Zubair SEC said, “The new attractive packaging will stand out in supermarkets and stores, which is an increasingly important channel for Aljoud Mill products. Great packaging plays a very important role in marketing. It augments the products’ appearance and attracts a prospective customer. Since eyecatching packaging is responsible for a product’s brand image and recognition, we are certain the new design will create the most profitable impact for Aljoud Mill products.”

He added, “We are thrilled to see how Aljoud Mill has been taking steady steps of progress and growth. Nasser Abdullah Nasser Al Mawali has displayed tremendous dedication and commitment towards the development of his business and has been open to advise and guidance.”

We want to create a consistent impression of our products and make consumers recognise and buy our products. With assistance from Zubair SEC’s advisers, we have refreshed our packing to attract more customers. I am grateful for the constant support and guidance from Zubair SEC in this business journey.”

Aljoud Mill had unveiled its new brand identity and logo during an exhibition organised for SMEs at the Muscat Grand Mall (MGM) from February 28 to March 2 as an initiative by Zubair SEC.
