ISAM inaugurates Astronomy Club

MUSCAT: Indian School Al Mabelah (ISAM) marked August 1 a red letter day with the inauguration of Astronomy Club.

The ceremony began with the singing of the prayer song by the school choir. The Chief Guest of the day Dr Saleh Said Hamed Al Shidhani, Chairman, National team for Capacity Building, Space Science and Technology, Sultan Qaboos University and Ex-President, Oman Astronomical Society took the students on a virtual tour of the universe and the Milky Way galaxy. The special features of the earth were also explained. The inaugural ceremony came to an end with the singing of the school anthem.
