Low EMI on urban crossover BAIC X65

MUSCAT: Gulf Great Sands (GGS), the exclusive importer of BAIC in Oman, has announced low EMI on the 2019 model of BAIC X65, the stylish and spacious urban crossover based on SAAB technologies. Known for its practicality and performance, the urban crossover BAIC X65 comes in two variants – Basic and Comfort.

Customers can avail an EMI rate (terms and conditions apply) of OMR 80 on all-new BAIC X65 2WD Crossover Basic (2.0T, 174 HP 6AT) for six years loan tenure (terms and conditions apply).

Commanding attention with its dynamic features, the SUV is equipped with 2.0L turbo engine which produces 174hp mated with six speed automatic transmission. The Wheelbase of 2670 mm offers maximum interior space for a comfortable driving experience.

Apart from the low monthly instalment, BAIC is also offering five years or 100,000 km Manufacturer’s warranty. The offer is subject to terms and conditions and is applicable to the vehicle purchased for personal use only.

Monthly instalments are calculated based on 20% down payment at a flat rate of interest 3.1% for 72 months period. It is also subject to credit approvals from banks only.

The BAIC X65 Comfort grade in addition to the Basic model features includes Panoramic Sunroof, 8-inch display screen, Rearview camera, front side airbag, Bluetooth, Power driver seat- 6-way, ORVM-electric fold.

The Crossover BAIC X65 has European safety standard, Bosch ESP and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and five-star rating safety level ranked by China New Car Assessment Programme.

BAIC acquired SAAB (Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget) which is a North European brand from Sweden. At the end of 2009, BAIC Motor took over the SAAB’s core assets, including its 9-5/9-3 vehicle platform, turbo engine transmission, R&D, manufacturing and supplier systems.

The SAAB unique front-wheel drive and steering technology was also inherited by BAIC. The unique reindeer horn body structure is sourced from SAAB’s “Safe Cage” patented technology. The integrity of the passenger compartment is ensured using collapsible IP beam support design to reduce engine penetration in the passenger compartment.
