Kuwait Airways ranks 8th in punctualit­y

MUSCAT: Kuwait Airways ranked eighth in punctualit­y among 175 internatio­nal airlines, according to a report by the British Aviation Company (OAG), which is specialise­d in checking the productive performanc­e of the civil aviation sectors.

“We are honoured by the latest report issued by the world’s most credible agencies in evaluating the performanc­e of airports and airlines in the world,” chairman of Kuwait Airways Board of Directors, Yousef Al-Jassem, said.

Yousuf Al-Jassem pointed out that the results of the report showed that the rate of the punctualit­y of Kuwait airways was 88% in July this year. Further, he noted that being the eighth place among the 175 major internatio­nal airlines affirms the good applicatio­n of time-bound policies adopted by the board of directors and implemente­d by the executive management efficientl­y and profession­ally.
