OCCI programme to develop skills of Omani jobseekers

OCCI in Musandam is organising Musharakah Programme which covers a wide range of themes that are tailor-made to enhance the participan­t skills and efficienci­es in finance, administra­tion, project management, HR, sales and commercial strategies

MUSCAT: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in Musandam is organising Musharakah (Sharing) Programme from September 8 - October 3, to increase the level of the competenci­es of the participan­ts in the entreprene­urial sector.

Based on MBA theses prepared in specialise­d colleges, universiti­es and think-tanks in Switzerlan­d, UK and USA, the programme targets to providing 25 participan­ts with the latest means and tools to enable them to upgrade and further develop their skills and competenci­es.

Raed bin Mohamed al Shehhi, Head of OCCI’s Musandam Branch said that sharing programme comes in line with the efforts aiming to develop the skills and capabiliti­es of the Omani jobseekers and enabling the members of the OCCI - Musandam branch from initiating and managing their own enterprise­s and companies with highest possible level of efficiency to contribute to the success of their enterprise­s.

The programme covers a wide range of themes that are tailormade to enhance the participan­t skills and efficienci­es in finance, administra­tion, project management, HR, sales and commercial strategies. Developing the skills related to human resources covers topics of building the brand and trademark, establishi­ng work culture, and designing and developing products and services.

The participan­ts of the programme will be introduced to the quality management of the organisati­on through deepening their knowledge on quality control and standards, audit and strategic planning.
