Oman Health Exhibition & Conference to kick-off this month
MUSCAT: The ninth edition of Oman Health Exhibition and Conference, which will be held from September 23 - 25 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, is expected to bring thousands of visitors to the city.
Recognised as Oman’s biggest healthcare event, Oman Health Expo will welcome more than 100 exhibition participants from some 13 countries. Exhibitors will showcase the best industry products, services, equipment and technology and will represent the medical community including hospital and medical infrastructure, medical supplies and healthcare services.
An estimated 4,000 visitors from both private and public sectors in business and government are expected to attend the event.
The free-to-attend, three-day conference sessions will be presented by a line-up of highly regarded health and medical experts.
They will discuss the need for a safe practice environment, the rising need for human resources in health, labour market trends and dynamics, patient safety, risk and performance management.
The organisers have ensured a more worthwhile visitor experience by offering free medical consultations with specialists from some of the biggest clinics, hospitals and healthcare providers in Germany, Iran, India, UAE, Thailand, Malaysia and Turkey.
Exhibition Director Ahmed Sayed told Times of Oman: “We are working closely with the Ministry of Health in order to provide proper and relevant information about health and medical issues in Oman that are aligned with the government’s initiatives and longterm plans.”
