Dhofar Automotive staff stand out in FCA Middle East Mopar Skills Competition
MUSCAT: Staff from Dhofar Automotive, the official distributor of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles in Oman, has once again proven their excellence in aftersales, not only locally, but across the entire Middle East region.
Two employees from the company recently won prestigious awards at the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) the Middle East 2020 Mopar Skills Competition held in Dubai. From an initial group of over 300 service advisers and 640 technicians from different FCA distributors in the Middle East, the entrants from Dhofar Automotive performed exceptionally, winning first place in the Service Advisers Category and both the third and the fourth positions in the Technicians Category. The awards ceremony in Dubai was attended by representatives from all Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM Middle East brand distributors. The team from Dhofar Automotive was supported by Mark Tomlinson, managing director, alongside the service and training managers.
To recognise the outstanding achievements of Kaushik Attavar, Service Adviser in the company’s state-of-the-art facility in Wattayah, and Ravi Shetty, Technician from the Dhofar Automotive outlet in Mabella, the management organised special gatherings at both premises, attended by all of the company’s employees. Each event was aimed to not only acknowledge the outstanding achievements of both team members but to also encourage other staff to continuously develop their skills and always pursue success.

The participants took part in several activities, including various challenges designed to test their technical and customer service skills. Utilising their extensive training and own experiences, the Dhofar Automotive team were able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding, utilising their high skillset to ensure that they out-performed the other Middle East participants.
