Ominvest wins Business Leadership Award

Ominvest was presented the award at OER Business Summit

MUSCAT: Oman International Development and Investment Company (Ominvest) was presented the ‘OER Excellence Award for Business Leadership’ at the 11th edition of OER Business Summit; the award was received by Ominvest GCEO Abdul Aziz Al Balushi.

Ominvest actively participated in the summit agenda. Shahid Rasool, Deputy CEO, Ominvest made a detailed presentation on “Economic and Business Competitiveness beyond the COVID-19 Era”; he shared insight on the rapidly changing global economic and business landscape, COVID-19 implications, global megatrends, technology trends, business disruption, and major sectors’ performance. Anwar Al Jabri, CEO, Jabreen Capital – a subsidiary of Ominvest - took part in the firstpanel session on the topic “Economic Roadmap to Vision 2040”, which deliberated on the strategic economic direction that Oman needs to pursue a well-diversified, sustainable and competitive economy that is based on knowledge and innovation, and the challenges owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
