Badr Al Samaa launches its 12th branch in Duqm
MUSCAT: Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals launched its 12th branch in Duqm, Al Wusta Governorate recently. It was inaugurated by the chief guest Sheikh Ahmed bin Salem Al Mahrouqi, the Wali of Duqm.
The guest of honour of the event was Dr Ibrahim bin Hilal Al Mahrooqi, Director General of Health Services, Al Wusta Governorate. Managing directors, executive directors, senior management, doctors and staff of Badr Al Samaa, Duqm Port officials, corporate executives, and representatives of the social organisation attended the event. This state-of-the-art centre will prove a boon to the residents and officials of Special Economic Zone, Duqm and many other surrounding areas.
The programme began with the recitation of Holy Quran followed by the address of dignitaries and managing directors of Badr Al Samaa Group. Chief guest, guest of honour and other dignitaries were taken for a walk-thru of the new facility. The event was anchored by Faisal
Muslem Khalfan Al Khawaitri.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Salem Al Mahrouqi in his address said Badr Al Samaa has contributed a lot in private healthcare of Oman and wish the group grows more and reaches more people with quality healthcare. He expressed satisfaction on the facility and services of Duqm centre.
Dr Ibrahim bin Hilal Al Mahrooqi said Badr Al Samaa will work shoulder to shoulder with the Ministry of Health to cater to the healthcare needs of people in Duqm. He said that Badr Al Samaa, Duqm has the potential to become a referral centre in the region.

He said this medical centre is a part of our CSR to promote Duqm with quality healthcare services and it will be upgraded to hospital in future.

This state-of-the-art facility will deliver healthcare services in the specialities like general medicine, internal medicine, ENT, orthopaedics, general surgery, etc. This centre has the most advanced machines for diagnostics for radiology and laboratory diagnosis. Gradually they will be adding more specialities and facilities in the near future. This centre has an emergency department with triage facilities. This area has facilities for resuscitation, plaster, nebulisation, vaccination, ECG, etc.
