MUSCAT: On the advent of the Blessed Eid Al Adha, His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has exchanged cables of congratula­tions with leaders of the sisterly Arab and friendly Islamic countries.

In his cables, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere congratula­tions along with his best wishes to them and the people of their respective countries further progress and prosperity, praying to the Almighty Allah to achieve all aspiration­s of progress and prosperity for their people under their leadership and for the return of this occasion on all Muslims with blessings and welfare.

In their cables to His Majesty the Sultan, the leaders expressed their sincere congratula­tions along with their best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people, praying to the Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty, grant him good health, happiness and a long life to achieve further progress and peace for his loyal people under his wise leadership and praying to Allah for the return of this and similar occasions on His Majesty the Sultan, the Omani people, the Arab and Muslim nations with welfare and progress.
