MSX index ends higher

MUSCAT: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) gained 36.2 points, comprising an increase of 0.88 per cent to close at 4141.09 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4104.90 points.

The report released by MSX pointed out that the market value went up by 0.185 per cent to reach about OMR22.17 billion.

The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR65,000, comprising 3.13 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR225,000, comprising 10.84 per cent. The net non-Omani investment went down by 7.70 per cent to OMR160,000.
